Fully built engine and trans, top mount, EOS intake, LPFP, flex E85; pretty standard top mount build. No change to build/tune in over a year. Recently threw a code on startup:

"101F01 Throttle angle - absolute pressure intake manifold; Comparison: Pressure too low"

No issues driving, no apparent boost leaks, no loose wiring, etc. Have looked over everything.

Initial thought was pre-throttle MAP. Looked at pre-throttle vs. intake manifold absolute and pre-throttle readings were questionable - varying form 14.7 to 16.1. Replaced pre-throttle MAP. Now reading 14.7 vs. 14.7 intake manifold absolute key on/engine off - good to go. At idle, 14.7 vs. 14.1 - also seems good (small vacuum).

Code continues to reappear with no obvious "trigger". Sometimes it appears at startup, sometimes it does not register at all with a short drive. Car idles, drives, and pulls normal. Code will not appear during a pull and logs do not show anything obvious to my "untrained" eye; though I'm admittedly not an expert at reviewing the logs.

Coincidence or related? First time the code happened (on startup) was with a battery that had been sitting too long not on a tender. 101F01 appeared (first time only) with "030E08 PWMG Battery very discharged". Battery was put on CTEK overnight, 030E08 cleared and has not come back. 101F01 continues to reappear.

Any suggestions or ideas? Forum searches and Google searches seem to indicate this is not very common and is a fairly elusive code.

Hoping someone like @zrk or @Jesse DaBears has some insight. Thanks everyone!

Could possibly be a tune thing? Have you asked your tuner? The fact you had a bad MAP does make me wonder if there's something electrical going on.

If you have logs, I can take a look at 'em.

Car has been on the same tune for a year (or so) with no issues. I have asked the tuner and the shop who built the engine, haven't gotten very far. Son just had surgery so we won't be digging into it for a few days, but I'm leaning electrical. MAP was all over the place with the key on/engine off (but always steady). Turn the key on, read 14.7; key off, key on, read 15.2; key off, key on, read 16.1' start car, shut it down, key on/engine off, read 14.7. Definitely not what I would expect. After replacing the MAP, it's a steady 14.7 but the code continues to come back.

If you don't mind taking a look, I'll send you a couple of logs in a PM. Always learning, will take any feedback!

Did you happen to figure this out? I’m having the same issue after getting an intake manifold installed

I have not figured it out conclusively, no. At this point I have a theory but it will be some time before I know for sure.

Immediately after? If so, I would lean heavily on the mechanical side; verify the install. Look at the throttle body mate to the intake, the throttle body harness, the pre-throttle MAP and manifold MAP. There is another post in the forum about a throttle body not being mounted correctly.

EcuTek? Log "Boost Pressure Pre Throttle (filtered) (psi)" and "Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure (filtered) (psi)" . Take a log in diagnostic mode and then take a log at idle.
