Fully built engine and trans, top mount, EOS intake, LPFP, flex E85; pretty standard top mount build. No change to build/tune in over a year. Recently threw a code on startup:
"101F01 Throttle angle - absolute pressure intake manifold; Comparison: Pressure too low"
No issues driving, no apparent boost leaks, no loose wiring, etc. Have looked over everything.
Initial thought was pre-throttle MAP. Looked at pre-throttle vs. intake manifold absolute and pre-throttle readings were questionable - varying form 14.7 to 16.1. Replaced pre-throttle MAP. Now reading 14.7 vs. 14.7 intake manifold absolute key on/engine off - good to go. At idle, 14.7 vs. 14.1 - also seems good (small vacuum).
Code continues to reappear with no obvious "trigger". Sometimes it appears at startup, sometimes it does not register at all with a short drive. Car idles, drives, and pulls normal. Code will not appear during a pull and logs do not show anything obvious to my "untrained" eye; though I'm admittedly not an expert at reviewing the logs.
Coincidence or related? First time the code happened (on startup) was with a battery that had been sitting too long not on a tender. 101F01 appeared (first time only) with "030E08 PWMG Battery very discharged". Battery was put on CTEK overnight, 030E08 cleared and has not come back. 101F01 continues to reappear.
Any suggestions or ideas? Forum searches and Google searches seem to indicate this is not very common and is a fairly elusive code.
Hoping someone like @zrk or @Jesse DaBears has some insight. Thanks everyone!
