How did you like it? Done a bunch at Pocono both the infield course and Nascar 1&2 with NASA. Pocono is totally different than all the other road courses we have in our area. It is where I learned the most about aero. The speeds and high banking when you run two corners are scary. My Elise bounced at the top of my suspension and steering became ridiculously light at 155 in the banks. The wall comes up so fast if you don,t get it right……. I had to add significant front downforce to balance out my wing.

After 15,000 measurements, five dremel cutting wheels and a garage filled with aluminum dust, the replica GT4 hood vent is now installed!

Very nice. Placement looks right about where it's at on the gt4 car. I wonder if there's any benefit or downside to shifting it up just a tad, closer to the windshield. Running without the engine cover I assume?

Well I found this after I posted.

Why? Know something the GT4 Designers don’t?

Relax ur tiddys lol. I was just picturing in my mind what it might look like a little higher up.

That placement may also work best due to the design on the underside of the hood.

Finally an actual person with this intake! Could you post sound clips of the turbo noises amd do you have any aftermarket inlet to go with it?

Any reason why you changed the wheels? Other than the 0.5 width?

For their price, I'm might really consider them.

I assume coz 295 CRS run wide and are better performing on 11" wheel.

Not a Corvette.

Drove the car today and did some datalogging. The intake is obnoxiously loud, like hooligan level, but that is just my opinion. Preliminary data is showing much higher boost level for the same amount of WGDC, which points to the setup I had before being a restriction.

Setup before: OEM airbox, aftermarket panel filter, FTP intake pipe.

Current setup: MAD intake, CTS turbo inlet.

To support a 295 tire better.

@razorlab why this intake choice vs other offerings ?
Wonder how it will compare on hard data vs OEM, sincce I heared mulitple times this car has really good factory air box and does not need intake for performaance.
