21' Nitro Yellow Supra for 47k

Hi,

I recently found a nitro yellow supra for 47k with 18k miles out of state. I was a bit concerned about the oil consumption issues since this supra will be out of warranty in about a year if I purchased it. How common is it? Should I be concerned if it does happen?

Also, the Supra had a muffler delete done to it so it does not have stock exhaust anymore. I live in California and I was wondering if I will have to buy a stock exhaust in order to register the car. Can I buy an aftermarket exhaust with a muffler? Or will it be too loud? Does anyone have an answer for that?

Otherwise, what do you guys think of this deal?

You could probably pass CA smog with an aftermarket exhaust that's quiet with a valve.
It's a good deal if it's a 3.0 premium with no accidents reported

These have a 5 year powertrain warranty. I have a '21 and the oil check never moves from the full line between changes. Admittedly I only put about 2-3k miles on per year.

If the car has a stock cat, then you should be good for smog.

I have a 21 never had oil consumption issues *knock on wood I ran 0w-30 Motul and recently switched on the last change to 5w-30 liquimoly that everyone does.

2021 here at 22k miles no oil consumption over the 2k miles I’ve owned it this year. Also no issues reading oil level (another thing to watch for which is a symptom of oil pump issues).
