Hi there all i have a Supra 2024 model mileage 1130 miles when i unlock the vehicle the audio unit takes 10-15 minutes to come on been to dealer they can't fix it no faults in the system.
When i first got it it came on as soon as i opened the door then after about a week when i opened the vehicle the audio unit wouldn't come on for about 10-15 min
when it did come on i worked perfectly fine the vehicle has had no work done on it it is still standard any ideas would be much appreciated .

No idea mate but it's clearly not right. I'd take it back to them and insist on getting it fixed. It's literally their job. ?‍

Try restarting radio by holding down volume button till Idrive restarts.

If it was me I would try resetting the system just to see if that makes any difference at all. Unlikely but for me would prove it is the idrive unit that is faulty.

The BMW forums are your friend looks like you turn the engine on and hold volume button down for 70 seconds.

I agree with BMWAF - it is back to Toyota and I would be saying they have to order a new unit as it is under warranty and it is Toyotas problem to fix. They can't say there are no faults as very clearly it is not working to spec. These things boot up immediately you unlock the car and open the drivers door so 10-15 mins is a complete joke.

Hope you get it sorted quickly.

I can only echo the above, take it back and insist on it being repaired/replaced.

Can't stand dealers who fob people off on the basics like this!
