I'm not sure what you mean, I can set my own deductible and i chose 2,000? If something happens i can easily afford to pay that at the time i need to, I just prefer having the higher deductible and lower monthly payments. As i said, I do my own work, i have a perfect driving record, and 0 points from accidents / claims / tickets. Again i could set my deducible at 0 if i wanted, but I chose not to.
So…
You can ‘easily’ pay a $2000 deductible when you ‘need’ to but can’t shell it out to fix the damn window properly.
= fool.

These are what I'm stuck on, I've tried to find guides and i dont see anything with specifics on how to remove them.
That doesn’t loosen. You tighten it. The “star” is then removed from the rear of the glass. So basically turn that t20 clockwise to release it.

Just an additional warning. Those are extremely tight. If you break the t20 or strip it, there’s a hex head on the rear of the star that will save your ass. Spray some penetrating oil on it first.

Ok i figured that it was these, but I'm pretty sure i stripped the right one and didn't want to continue and strip them both, They are definitely in there tight.

Apparently you have 0 reading comprehension. I want to do this myself, to learn, and feel accomplished. Its not about affording it. Please leave the thread if all you're going to do is be negative. If you like shelling out your money and never accomplishing anything yourself on your vehicle please don't ever say you "built" anything. Continue to buy your way through life, i'll go ahead and figure out how to fix shit and have some sense of accomplishment and worth over what i did.

Do you "feel accomplished" asking for help, then arguing with those who have more common sense than you?

Should be common sense to stay out of a thread if you are not contributing to it. Why do so many jump on someone that's asking for help.
I don't see you contributing to it either my guy. ? But, preach on. I'll make sure to get off your lawn, while I'm here.

Well, if replacing a window makes you feel accomplished then more power to you my friend. Clearly your success bar in life is pretty low.

I'm confused.

This is why insurance exists. If you're stuck for months then why not just seek professional help? That's asinine to me. You pay for insurance, why not use it.
I pay for insurance in situations where its body damage and shit i cannot fix, or have to use outside shops. if its something i can do myself, why would i pay more? You're telling me to use something i pay for, to ultimately pay more... Its asinine to use insurance when its something i can complete, And I've been doing what i was supposed to correctly I've just wanted to make sure and I've gotten an answer from someone. I already got the left bolt out, all i needed was to make sure i was doing it correctly, now i just gotta get an adapter and do the right side hex bolt since i stripped the torx bit.

Saving myself money and learning something new, fixing something I own, not having to rely on other people to do the work for me. Again thanks for the negativity, continue being an asshole in life. Got my answer and I was going about it correctly. Just needed to know the hint there was a 5mm hex bolt on the other side to help with the stripped one.
