They're relentless!Spoke to soon haha
Cool. I plan on taking it to my local shop and tossing her on a dyno first day I get her. Attempting to organize a dyno day, though since we don't know actual release date, it's gonna be tough to put together.Haha thanks dude! I might just take you up on that offer. That being said, I am on a list for a Launch Edition...
My plans exactly! Hopefully I can get a press car sometime sooner though and maybe sneak that to a dyno. Not sure how happy Toyota will be with that, but it would be good fun!Cool. I'll be honest, I'm convinced they're rating it low. They've done it before with the "280hp gentleman's agreement"My plans exactly! Hopefully I can get a press car sometime sooner though and maybe sneak that to a dyno. Not sure how happy Toyota will be with that, but it would be good fun!

It’s already common knowledge on BMW forums that the B58 produces about 305whp stock on a dyno or 366bhp.I'll be honest, I'm convinced they're rating it low. They've done it before with the "280hp gentleman's agreement"
I've read its about 380 bhp on the M240i. Some say higher, but the number that I've seen most often is around 380. It pretty much has to be more than 335, if it really does 0-60 in 4.1. The acceleration numbers of other cars with that engine likewise greatly defy its 335 hp/369lbsft torque rating. It’s already common knowledge on BMW forums that the B58 produces about 305whp stock on a dyno or 366bhp.
Thats why I was thinking it has more power. I mean, I suppose the gearing could be just right for it to go that quick, but I really doubt that's all there is to it.I've read its about 380 bhp on the M240i.
