FYI Bimmercode is not open source which means they have a set number of individuals working on the software instead and charge money for it instead of it being able to be reviewed by software developers around the world and free usage

You could have just typed a word document to yourself instead of posting a thread. This thread, geeeez.

Hey antiq8ted_exo the obvious is not so obvious to a lot of people brotha. Would you like me examine all the threads you have started and criticise every single one of them?

Currently Toyota America Software team has a ticket in their system. Currently Speaking to Lead Developer at Bimmercode Sven Straubinger to update their system.

Very High Level Consciousness is going on here, you may not be able to understand.
I understand that you have a Supra, but have, somehow, never heard of bimmercode until now. I also understand you're having issues with an update that lots of other people didn't have issues with. That implies, to me, an issue with that update being applied to your car, not necessarily an issue with the update.

Seems there is plenty that you don't understand.

The main issue is that Toyota America does not allow open communication between them and dealers and bimmercode. Do you think the two qualified technicians at the dealership know everything about Supra's?

Everytime I start my car I get a pop up. Manually Select your Tires. I run the automatic recognition software it goes through properly and registers but still then another pop up-manually recognize your tires. Don't worry about this Toyota has a ticket and is working on it if you have this issue.
That sounds like a different (& common issue). This happens in my car as well. When it does, I answer the question by selecting custom tires and do the drive around TPM reset for it. That usually does the trick. When I have a set of wheels that doesn’t have TPMs, I still select custom wheels/tires and follow the prompts.

Sometimes the passenger window rolls up then goes back down a quarter. There’s a trick for that as well. Thereā€˜s lots of little BMW tricks a good BMW mechanic knows how to fix them. Some things just work themselves out. It’s a BMW. If you’re lucky enough to be near a Toyota dealer that has extensive BMW experience, that’s great! I’ve yet to find one and no longer looking. I use a fantastic independent BMW mechanic who can troubleshoot gremlins that come up from time to time - that I can’t figure out myself.

They definitely don’t. Hence why most of us don’t go to Toyota when our BMWs have issues. I get it. It’s weird and quirky. But it is what it is. That will save you a lot of time, money & energy = don’t go back. Find a BMW mechanic & have them reset your car.

It is evidently clear that BMW Bimmer Code does not support Toyota America or it's dealerships through one email with their Lead Software Developer.

BMW won't honor packages I purchased at Toyota even though it is under the same Franschise of Dealership. I am going to potentially open a legal case against this franchise of dealership.
