I would assume so but if anyone has a MY24 that has coded that in or attempted to wants to chime in we could find out.

I have MY24, and I was able to turn off auto start/stop for 6 months.

Then one day it didn't work anymore. And my car hasn't been to the dealer the day it left the lot...

That makes no sense, have you tried recoding it with Bimmercode?

I know. I've retried coding it a dozen times. Still doesn't stick.

Sometimes (randomly), the auto start/stop with the cross through it pops up for a second then disappears.

It's now just a ritual when I get in the car: turn off auto start/stop, put into neutral....

Toyota should give us a choice. I am sure they have been asked but they don't seem the most responsive and dealerships are useless for many things like this, in their advocation as all they want is to make money.

Since the thread has been bumped, I’ll mention that I have experienced the throttle hesitation issue once since I got the updates done. It seems better than it was but not totally resolved. Curious what other’s experience has been….

Throttle hesitation is the transmission decoupling clutch delay, not something with the actual throttle (its a fuel milage thing for CAFE). XHP can remove it by permanently coupling your transmission.

Related - XHP trans tunes can also remove your auto start/stop by disabling it on the transmission side, which bypasses whatever ECM coding can or can't accomplish (most 2023+ cars you cant code it off, but a trans tune removes it)

Same here, had the throttle hesitation issue like clockwork and have driven with my TC off for years as a result. Got the DCM recall last month, have kept TC on ever since, and the issue has never returned.

last year i went from 07/21 to 03/24. car was overall more responsive and i never experienced the hesitation issue since.

edit: i felt no difference from 03/24 to whichever the DCM recall version is.

^^^^^ what he said. although i believe the throttle hesitation issue is a combination of factors, including driver's habit, he speaks facts

Just got my update done and it seemed to have a newer version that what I've read from this thread. I got S18T-24-11-520.

One thing I found annoying my radio presets use to be able to save page I wanted (I used preset 8 for my vehicle sport settings). But now I can't save anything on those presets except for music stations. Can anyone else verify this on their updated cars?

In regards to the Pedal Commander, I meant has anyone noticed anything different when it happens? More often, less often? Worse or not when it does happen? Thinking about getting one since I only drive in Normal (absolutely despise burble bullshit), but would like a better throttle response similar to when the engine is in Sport or better than that.
