Hey Guys,

I just had the dealer replace the windshield on my Supra. I have two questions. Does the car need to be driven after the windshield is replaced? It was driven 3.9 miles. And is this bubble around this sensor normal? I don't see it in my photos of the original glass that came with the car.

I dont think thats normal but mine looks the same as yours after my window was replaced. Everything still works just fine.

I am still curious to see what people have to say about my original questions. But, I have a couple of more questions now.

Driving home tonight I noticed the HUD is blurry and seeing double. Has anyone else run into this?
And, can you confirm if this is OEM glass?

Not a Corvette.
There are two different windshields, one for HUD and one without. Both OEM and aftermarket.

I’ve had both OEM and aftermarket windshields, but asked for HUD versions and the HUD has been fine with both. FYI the aftermarket windshields are softer than OEM and pit like hell very quickly, but seem to not crack as easily as OEM.

That’s my current windshield and it’s not OEM. OEM has the bmw logo on it
That’s mine as well and it’s the factory original. No BMW on it.

Hud glass has a different layer in the middle I know you know but just tossing in an easy confirmation

I live w blur because
Track only
I’m cheap

Thinking about a poly windshield next time

I personally love it. Especially if I am pedal happy.
Polarized sunglasses make it damn near invisible.
Night time driving with it results in the whole square/rectangular screen being visible as a reflection.

I do enable it on track just so that the speed can be seen on camera.
