Hey all, I am in the process of obtaining the JB4 + xHP and was wondering would it be better to install xHP first or JB4? Also which OTS maps would you guys recommend for running both?

Tried searching on here but couldn't find an answer about anyone running both, everyone seems to go custom map 6 for JB4 with Jessie but that'll be later down the line.

About half the cars I've tuned on JB4 have XHP. they work well together, doesn't matter the order you install.

Map 1 for 91/93, Map 2 or Map 4 for some 93 or E30, Map 5 for 93/E30+

Install order doesn't matter.

XHP map doesn't matter. Use the one you find most comfortable.

JB4: see ColonelAdama's post above.

Thinking about getting a xHP and feel better knowing you see these two together frequently. For someone who isn’t technical, would you recommend installing the xHP stage 2 and running it on track? Or would I need to make settings adjustments if using on track?

And can you turn it off and on as easily as the JB4? Say turn it off prior to going to the track, if needed to preserve the transmission but enjoy the benefits of using auto in town - w/out the normal mode bogging down like it does.
