They averaged 2mins but from watching the videos they are all talking and commentating on the lap, sliding around and having fun, and also none are wearing helmets which suggests to me that they weren't pushing super hard. I reckon there might be another couple of seconds possible.

The quickest lap was 1:59.167 and if you average the 4 quickest (no passenger and little sliding) it comes out to 1.59.456.

What struck me is how slow some of the manually-commanded shifts were -- almost a full second on a few. There was also some 'interesting' audio mixing going on with a few of those laps, too..

Alonso was all over the place. It definitely looks like a Toyota demo day so 1:59.456 is not bad at all. It just puts it slightly above a 10 yr old 997 and Audi R8 along with a 16 yr old rare R34.

That's not even an RS, it's a 997.2 Carrera base that's just slightly slower then the R8.

Makes sense since 997.2's are 345hp with 287ft/lb at 3186 lbs. You can find used 997.2 for sub 50's too.

The racers never brought up about the need for manual. But of course, they are hired by Toyota GR to give good comments about the Supra. We have to hear honest reviews somewhere else.
