My '21 is currently coded to start with it disabled. Im not really interested in starting in sport mode so if that ever changes and I can't code it out, I'll be pushing that dam button again everytime I start the car.?

2024, same issue as well. Not interested in always being in sport mode either, coding doesn't work.

Guess it's part of the drill.. start car, push button...

Why would you not want to drive a sports car in sport mode?

I have coded in Auto start-stop memory, so it remembers my last setting (of off). Mine is a MY2024

I get up early in the AM and don’t want to wake up neighbors and family.

Another instance I can think of is if I’m out and there’s cops around, I wouldn’t want to draw attention.

That didn't work for me on my MY2024. My car was built in June, delivered in August, so maybe something changed (or you got lucky!). The only way I was able to avoid hitting the button each time was to have my car start in Sport - Individual.

For those of you worried about startup noise, when in Sport mode the car closes the Exhaust flap for cold starts, so it is not any more obnoxious than starting in Normal mode. Warm starts and driving around are a little more obnoxious though...

I get that.. I guess my default is just the other way around. I only unsport around the thin blue line.
