Custom/Vanity Plates - Is it dumb or is it cool?

Hey guys,
First of all... OMG it's Friday.
I found multiple threads on the subject, didn't feel like bringing them back from the dead....

I have 2 in mind, looking for some suggestions if they are dumb or semi-cool?

It's your car at the end of the day to do what you want with it. I've had people hate on mine a couple times but I personally don't give a shit cause I like it.

Your options wouldn't be my first choice but as I stated in my first statement, it is your car to do with however you please so do what you like and fuck everyone else!

To answer your original question, I have a few custom plates and my unpopular opinion is that they're actually pretty cool, albeit with two clear exceptions:

1. A plate that directly reference the car they are on, ie: SUPRA or FORD, MX5, etc.
2. Or worse, a plate that esoterically references the car, ie: A90, J29 or FK8, etc.

Also, I can't help but give a special mention to plates that reference the paint name: I mean, seriously.. who gives a shit?

And.. while these are all taken in my parts, might I suggest, FNFAST, FASTAF or QUICKAF, in keeping with your preferred theme. Proper spelling does tend to turn me on more.. for the record.

Where possible, I like plates that push the boundaries of what the authorities will allow. While I've had more plates rejected than I can count, I did manage to get FL8IO passed the censors. ?

It's got some humor to it so it gets a pass. ? I guess my opinion is that a custom plate should add to the car's identify, rather than simply restate it.

But who cares. People can do whatever they like, as @Vertex stated earlier!

Also, i'm looking for something that can be moved to the next car. Not specific to the Supra. You never know, right?

The last reason i'm avoiding FAST or F3ST or anything like that is simple, a stage 2 94 octane Supra is not "FAST", lol... QWIK, yes... FAST, no.

I don't need to be humbled every time I take a drive, lol

You know what a synonym is, right? I mean, do whatever you like but you should know that I'm confident any plate that says QUICK (or a derivative thereof) is going to get treated exactly the same as a car with a plate that has a derivative of FAST on it, lol.

If I was, erm.. going down that path, I'd go for the cheeky: QUICKIE. ?

I have a vanity plate on mine - 'NICEBMW' ?‍

People who know, get a kick out of it, and I get plenty of compliments (even from cops) on it, so that's a plus.
