Looking for a reliable tuner. Burned once and almost burned twice

I got lucky and got in with Botti before he got insanely busy. Tuned mine on Ecutek flex fuel and it’s bonkers fast and have had zero problems. I can usually get a revision/map review and email replies within a couple days.

I’ve worked with CSG on brake stuff and still use a range of their stuff for different events/track days; have always had good communication/feedback from them and would imagine this to translate to a good experience with Zach as others have said.

When I lived in CO a lot of other Supras got tuned by Payne. Their cars weren’t slow by any means at WOT; but the driveability/smoothness at average throttle positions seemed less than smooth, just an observation from ride-alongs and not objective… ??‍

Same experience with Botti. It took a few weeks to get started but after the initial map things moved quick. Total time to tune was 3 days with 5 pulls, log reviews and fine tuning.

Marin is a joke, took over a year + to get a some what good tune from him. The only time he would look at my logs was when I would call him out on his "Whisk Wednesdays" or when he called Botti out on his IG live. Im not the kind of person to call anyone out after a few weeks delay, I get it life happens, but this guy caught COVID like 67x in a year.

I switched to Botti, he is busy but if he is in front of his computer you will get a super fast response. I got like 3-4 revisions in a day because I would load the map up and log a run and send it.

Jesus dude. It's 2024, have you tried sending him an email? Zach is the go to for a lot of communities and while he is leagues ahead of the others in terms of response time, he's still a very busy person.

The Supra community has some tuners with really shit communication, but I don't think I've ever had a tuner across multiple platforms who I felt like I could call out of the blue (at least not without an active order with them) and expect a response within >8 hours.

Nobody actively monitors a business landline in 2024 genius, you leave a voicemail and then they email you, they don't want to get stuck on the phone with a yappy boomer like you who thinks because you're spending a lot of money you get to have a one on one with someone who has better things to be doing

Zach only responds via email. He makes it clear on the Csg website. Give him some time, he’s usually very booked but will respond typically within a day

@SupraFly00 We know your frustrated but no tuner that I know answers phones or responds within 24 hours. Give it some time, also ask all questions here or in a PM if you don’t want to be scrutinized by the peanut gallery. Several members have good tech info and can help.

I’ve owned two a90 Supra and gone through many tuners over the years, including the ones you listed .
From my experience , I noticed you only get the special treatment if you are someone important or building a 1xxx hp car . If you are looking for better service , try European tuners, or even Asia. They're just as knowledgeable when it comes to tuning these engines . I usually get quick response through their website or instagram with simple questions and always go through PayPal .
