What's the point in going with an unreliable 20+ year old engine when there is a newer version available??? No wonder it blew up... /S

I think in the next 5-10 years people will be coming out with this stuff. The 2JZ is a great engine but isn't the be all and end all of performance. Given the same time the B58 although BMW might prove as potent and reliable, if given a chance.

Because they need the car to run now, and there are no parts available for the B58.

Yeah I know, that's why I put a "/s" meaning to indicate sarcasm. The 2JZ is a great engine with exactly what's needed for now for drifting etc, but people are writing off the B58 before it's even in the car, let alone after 20+ years of tuning and aftermarket development.

So HKS Hipermax is the first aftermarket suspension coilover kit for the Supra...
Placed an order for a set of HKS Hipermax for my Supra nearly 6 months ago.. still not here. HKS keeps delaying the shipment. Hopefully these don't suffer the same fate.

It looks like he was given a prototype / test car to play with.
