Thought I would post up a review on the Kyostar 4" intake system, and share my findings. This looks very similar to the MST v2, which is has good reviews as far as hearing the turbo. I took a chance and ordered this off ebay for $225. I gotta say I was impressed when it showed up. Definitely not cheap, and was a nice fit.
I had access to a friends MST V2 for comparison and we could not tell a difference. Build quality was the same, even the metal was the same thickness 1.5mm. *** The only difference I could see was the MST did have a larger gasket in one section that closed a gap up a little better. Which was easly fixed by ordering another gasket off amazon ($10).
Review: Overall, definitely 5 star!!! I would highly recommend! Nice fit, quality materials, definitely could hear the turbo spool and flutter when wastegate opened. You easily hear it with the windows up and even down. $250 vs $500+
Bonus Tip: I just made my own clear cover ($6). 11x14 - 3mm - clear acrylic sheet off amazon. Traced the lid with a sharpie, then cut it with the dremel. Cleaned the edges with a file. Throw a supra sticker on it, or any other sticker you want on it for the win!
