Supra Customers Instructions:
(If XHP has not been flashed to the trans, you must 1st flash Stage 0) then proceed with the following:

Did he say why to flash to stage 0 first? I did the flash and after the initial flash I just went to stage 2. Maybe the initial does stage 0 by default? No issues so far.

I am assuming if you have had never had the XHP software, then it required the initial one at Stage 0. I am not 100%.

I had it on mine before the new stage 2 was built. I had it set on Map 3 with line pressure bump. I made only a few minor tweaks once I received the final revision from Rod. One was to start out in second gear. After a few days, I switched it back. Changed shift points from 7500 to 6800, and left the file tune from Rod alone. Lastly, asked him to change when the tranny saw 8th gear. Initially it was around 70 or so. I asked him to change it to 60. Revision sent the next day. Great customer service from him.

Its night and day difference from all the adjustments and built transmission. Throttle response is truly on key, and the car is very responsive to me.

how is the gear shifts on WOT compare to the OTS stage 3 ?

Firm and instant. Map 3 at 33-34psi in sport mode is the smoothest to me. Map 1 at 18-19psi, driving normal is more brutal. If this makes sense. The transmission is wanting to be driven hard. Basically, the harder you drive it, the better the shifts (smoothness).

In other words, the smoother and daily driving the car, the shifts are more aggressive, IMO.
