Did you try applying pressure on the steering wheel (either direction and may need to try both), while hitting the start button (accessory position, without foot on brake)?

Not sure if this vehicle actually has "run" mode or not. I've personally never tried to turn the wheel without the engine running so I can't say for sure you can actually do that. What's the reasoning for not starting it to get the steering wheel unlocked?

mine has steering lock as soon as i turn the motor off (2019 eu spec)

Can confirm. Can’t drive my car right now but remembered this thread so went out to check when I got home. Radio lit up and said hello which almost brought a tear to my face.

Grabbed the wheel and turned it left, then right a quarter turn both ways. Might be a EU spec thing maybe
