Toyota badge + Toyota word above Supra logo

sorry in advance if this Thread is silly, but its me, very precise in these details, just like i was with my mkiv

I really hate how Toyota badge look, it looks so contrasty and pops up, like Toyota want you to see
they even placed Toyota word above the Supra logo in all non-US Supra - looks horrible and busy from the back

of course i will remove TOYOTA word above supra logo
and i will try very hard to search for something less contrast less popping - maybe blacky Badge like this for example, if i had to, ill design my own
I was hoping Toyota will use Supra logo as badge itself after going so iconic like that, but still, this just show how much Toyota lost sport car mentality over the years, designing beast Supra, mindset is camry akhhh

If red supra for example

The reason is why Toyota put Toyota above the Supra name is because they have to....

Apparently Toyota let their ownership of the name Supra expire :doh:and someone else took it. So now they have to badge the car as a "Toyota Supra" and not just a "Supra" in Europe.

Easiest way I know how to do this for any badging is to use a length of nylon fishing line. Slide the line behind the badging and use a "sawing" motion to release the badge from the adhesive. Clean the remaining adhesive with some 3M Adhesive remover and you won't even know it was there. A lot of body shops use this trick and the 3M stuff. Won't harm your paint.

How about this? Seems to meet your criteria.

Why not just put MKIV badges on and call it a day since they are still available. Your car will be a little bit cooler... not as cooler but close.

Man if it will be the exact size
For sure itā€™s much better
Itā€™s already in my list
Thanks

Oh you guys are soooo sensitive about that still. Gets a reaction every time lol

Probably older then you bub, grown up enough to take a joke that's for sure
We get this joke in every article or discussion on the web
Do you think we are thirsty to hear it in another discussion?
Growing up to appreciate people discussions is harder than growing up to take repeated silly jokes, plus I assure you youā€™re not older than me;)
Have a nice day

Lol ... lets see so far, we have:

changing the badge to MkIV style, or just removing it altogether to hide the MKV styled badge,
adding a MKIV wing,
and adding MkIV taillights...

whats next? vent removal? MkIV style headlight smoothing? diffuser removal and MKIV rear bar?
... why not just go straight to a complete MKIV bodykit and wheels???

Perhaps just go for a MkIV instead? Logically its a vastly better platform to begin with.
agree about the badge no question, but...
i like many things in the old mkiv, but also some of the mkv is nice
the diffuser for example is super nice and will only be better with body kits and bigger exhausts
the headlight in the mkv is not more beautiful than mkiv in my opinion, but they are more modern and i like them

overall, i think the main thing this mkv needs is mkiv wing, this gives a lot of the legendary look of the original supra

This is the only A80 style spoiler I have actually liked since the curves fit the A90 rather than ps-ing an a80 wing on it. This and a different front bumper.
Still not keen on round tails in non-round housings though

Thanks
Me and Flathat3d designed this spoiler to fit the trunk of the A90 since it's a bit narrower tha A80
So the base has to start in and then slide out to the body so you can open the trunk
Just like the Mustang and GTR

I am thinking exactly as you think, even though I'm a big fan of the round tails but I dont see the space-housing suit it on the A90 - i have to see this in person - plus the A90 tails really grown on me

With that HKS lowered springs they just show last week, The front bumper should look fine if good solid lips added

I am still thinking the wheels needs to be 20inch, will add much better look

I'm a little bias but I think the MKIV look would work on the MKV. A few things that stick out to me are:

1)The MKIV spoiler needs to be a little higher. Just like the MKIV, the spoiler is almost level with the top of the rear glass so it doesn't block your rear view.
2)The MKIV round halos would look a lot better if they were 3D OLED.
