Best overall air intake upgrade?

The MAD does not come with the turbo inlet so once you add that you're pretty close to MST pricing.

You might be off a little bit here or getting better prices than I have seen.

MST with turbo inlet (v2) = $526
MST without turbo inlet (v1) = $410

MAD without turbo inlet = $269
CTS turbo inlet = $149

MAD with CTS turbo inlet = $418

Or get the same exact MAD intake for $200 on ebay/alibabi/etc

From what I have seen between the two, the MAD/Ebay/Alibabi intake is like 1:1 the same as MST.

I personally run the MAD intake with CTS inlet.

I think also the MST did have a price increase recently, which honestly does set it fairly close to the armaspeed IMO

I paid $519 for the MST 3 years ago so all things considered $526 today isn't too bad.

RE: MAD -- when I priced it I thought it was $359 but now I'm realizing that was the B48 version. So yeah, ~$100 less than MST with an inlet is a good deal.

MAD is testing its own inlet, which you can add later to their intake.

its an upgrade for sure but for street driving, don't think you will notice any difference.

if you are on stock intake, get the new MST V3
if you already have the V2 MST, I don't think its worth it to spend the money on the upgrade

Going back on forth on the V2 and V3. Wanna order mine this week, but have no idea what the differences are. Wish there were sound clips of the newer one, but there seems to not be any on YouTube yet unfortunately:/

My personal testing has shown:

1. It wasn't too off from ambient air temps while at speed, but was prone to heat soak when at a standstill​

2. It sounds awesome​

3. It seemed to pick up a few HP​

3rd party has verified it gives around 3hp over the factory airbox if running the OEM tune with it. Sooo nothing to write home about.
