This should read "I liked hearing the Harleys go by and their foot boards scraping the pavement lol. On a decent Sportsbike one a road like this you don't need to worry about dragging pegs.
Why would you ride a Harley around a road like that, you're just going to be a mobile chicane.
Phil
To be fair i can drag my pegs on my street triple RS, and the STR, while not an all out sportsbike, is a fairly competent track weapon

I might suggest you adjust your riding style if your dragging pegs on a street triple on the road. Even on my old Ducati 1000ss on the track with my old school no hanging off riding style the last thing I need to worry about is dragging pegs. Same on the old 2007 GSXR1000.
I rode friends Harley once, once was enough believe me. I was shocked at how appalling they were in the going around corners department and I'd lowered the bar a LOT for the experience. Bordering on lethal.

Def not scraping my pegs on the road. Referring to the track. Fairly certain those sportsbikes have their pegs a bit higher than a naked like mine. Even the older Duc.

I also think it depends on the track. It's really not hard to scrape your pegs on the first corner of Brands Hatch (if you're familiar with that track), where i spent a lot of time until i left the UK. Negative camber downhill turn...

Nice bikes btw

flashed MHD back to Stage 2/93 octane after my state inspection. Drove it all over the damn place. Washed it. And back on the battery tender. 5-8” of snow heading our way. BULLSHIT
So cool you can flash her back and forth with ease for the DMV or whoever!
As for the weather, I feel that way about the hot flashes down here (my body and the temps outside ?). One minute I’m thinking I can squeeze one more track day in then…. ?

So badass you and Mr. Lucky P both are able to translate from driving bikes to a fully protected car. The guys I’ve met that do treat it that way, adapt quickly, are fast as ? and drive like bats ? outta hell ?

Swapped out my Titan Catless Downpipe for AMS GESI High Flow Cat Downpipe.

Between the smell, rasp and BM3 no longer allowing the workaround for catless downpipes for states that allow one "NOT READY" reading, it was just not worth it much longer.

I forgot how much I hate working on the ground on my back :/

Looks fantastic.

What's your general method here? (I'm new to washing my own cars being a rally guy)

What cleaning sponge or rag do you use?

Thanks!
Sponge
https://www.amazon.com/Optimum-2251...refix=rage's+red+sponge,stripbooks,188&sr=1-1

rage size 20 * 30

https://www.amazon.com/Rag-Company-...fix=gauntlet+towel,stripbooks,195&sr=1-1&th=1

to clean the sponge and rages
https://www.amazon.com/PROFESSIONAL...ges+to+riches+wash,stripbooks,185&sr=1-1&th=1

general rag for polish or interior cleaning
https://www.amazon.com/RAG-COMPANY-...any+car+wash+towel,stripbooks,181&sr=1-3&th=1

for the most part you buy these iteams 1 and done. still using the gallon size cleaning product over a year. For the cost of 3 car wash you can buy everything above. You don’t need running water.

oh also use this to help with pre soak.

Oh I know there wouldn't be any scraping on a sport bike at that speed/angle. I've got a 2012 R6 that I enjoy riding as well.

I had a coworker who had a cruiser and there were a handful of us that went for a ride on a twisty road and it was hilarious being behind him. He didn't care and he was scraping his foot supports around nearly every turn
