Does over engine brace do anything?

Wondering if anyone has an over engine brace like the Rk Ti (version 3) or the Ultra racing. If so, does it do much in stiffening the chassis, or is it more a decorative piece?

I’m sure it does stiffen the front by .0001% but it looks weird. I would prefer the upgraded Final Edition brace that’s stealth and mounted closer to the firewall.

We already have a far superior brace in that location. It goes from the shock towers to the firewall. It's triangulated. Hidden under the plastic.
