It was Tougefest up at the Tail of the Dragon. So here are some captured supra moments.

God I wish we had roads like that in Texas.

I just drove a road called "Devils Backbone" today in my Supra.. more like "Devils Limpdick".. so boring. I think it's time to move (as much as I love Texas).

Have you driven the 3 Twisted Sisters?

While it's no Tail of the Dragon, it's still a nice set of roads that should scratch the itch. Not too far from Austin either.

Great explanation! Car looks fantastic btw. I really hope you track her someday ?. P
Yeah I think I will. Even my street build should be a ton of fun. The new EC02s seem very capable as I've already set some PBs in turns I take every day simply from the raw coefficient of friction being better vs the stock PSS. For instance no longer having to lift off to avoid slip angle on long sweepers, stuff like that. If you ever wonder your way out to Austin, TX please let me know.

Got my rims put on my car today. Went with 19inch TE37 Saga-S wrapped in continental extreme contact02, 265/35/19 front and 295/35/19 for the rear. So far I love the combo and contrast of the turbulence grey and the bronze wheels. The continentals feel great and grips the road well. I would say they are if not more quiet driving than the stock Michelin sport tires.

Hope you didn't leave it parked there in that spot unattended for like 60 seconds or someone in a beater or a removal van would have parked right next to your Supra.

They literally are beater car magnets. The whole parking lot empty but they always decide for some reason to park next to you ??

Just counting pollen spores today
For a quick minute I thought that ?was some kinda stone cold marble wrap….

What do you think you'll replace the OEM's with?
Anything affordable in those top two categories ?

Unfortunately I really need to use up what I‘ve got. It’d be fun to take the OEM ones to the track and drive the snot outta them until nothing is left. Then have one of the tire companies put on one those above on trackside. Sure would beat waiting for tire rot to set in, driving only 5k miles per year in town. That way it wouldn’t be so obvious I bought another set of tires. Hummmmmmmm…. you got me thinking Geroge ? ? ?

Went out for my first track day in the Supra and my first time at Buttonwillow. Bullied a GT3 and passed him... then I went four off because I was too hype lol

Dat’s da way (uh huh uh huh, we likes it, uh huh uh huh…) Beautiful car ? Just need to get you some numbers Marlon. Track Decals have really good quality ones you can reuse but… they take about a track season to send them to you after you order ?

Def getting some vinyls next time. I applied new tape every session and they were messed up before I started the first lap lol. Turns out ceramic coated satin ppf is very effective against tape :dunno:
