I finally got them to warranty mine. I had to contact the vendor I purchased from to get the AA head of sales email. Once I did that I got a reply after two weeks only to get ghosted for another week. Contacted the head of sales again and they will warranty it. Sent them all of my info Tuesday but still waiting to hear back...

When I first sent my email the head of sales reached out and told me to buy new sensors I did and it was good for 3 months then the CEL came back today I just emailed him, just waiting for a response.

I had an issue with my GESI AA catted downpipe. They (AA) replaced it with a downpipe with their own cat. Haven't had any issues yet and hoping it stays that way. Hope your issue gets resolved. It took me a bunch of attempts to connect with them which was annoying so you'll have to keep pestering them. But once they do eventually connect with you, the customer service is good.
That’s good to hear, hope you don’t have to go through what I am with the new cat. I’ve talked to the head of sales person before just waiting for the reply back.

cat simulator/spacer is like $50 and works fine on our cars. get whatever downpipe you want with it

http://bigdaddiesgarage.com/ has em, amongst others.

That's essentially what Kenji/Armytrix uses and I've never heard of anyone getting CEL even catless (including me)
I have to check it out

Reading this makes me really unsure if getting either of the AA downpipes is worth it. Maybe better to get AMS?

I just got a warranty replacement. The O2 bung is shorter on the new one and should hopefully solve the CELs.

I’m one of the lucky ones, with an older model. I tried contacting them to buy an exhaust, what a joke of a shop. I wouldn’t buy anything from them ever again.

two years, no CEL

Sooo with all these reported CELs, AA made people go and replace O2 sensors but now they've redesigned the cat with a shorter O2 bung?

If that's what's truly causing CEL, and not a malfunctioned O2 sensor, they should stop wasting everyone's time and just replace the cat with the updated design
