Yeah, it’s ridiculous. I bought a new sensor that arrives tomorrow. The CEL automatically turned off randomly about four days ago and hasn’t turned back on. Regardless, I’ll replace the sensors and see if that permanently turns off the CEL.

I think it's the OEM sensor that AA is asking people to replace with.

I don't see why they wanted people to replace the sensor, when the old one is working fine with the OEM cat, but is triggering CEL with the AA cat.

I was gonna get an AA cat too, but after reading all this, I'll probably hold it off. I don't want to pay a shop multiple times to install, then remove it for warranty claim, then re-install again. That would suck.

I replaced my sensor but am still getting CELs. I reached back out to AA and they confirmed my purchase and contact info, but have since ghosted me for over two weeks and haven't responded to any of my emails. It seems like they really don't want to honor their warranty.

Did you get the active or gesi cat? Seems like theres more issues with the active cats

I had an issue with my GESI AA catted downpipe. They (AA) replaced it with a downpipe with their own cat. Haven't had any issues yet and hoping it stays that way. Hope your issue gets resolved. It took me a bunch of attempts to connect with them which was annoying so you'll have to keep pestering them. But once they do eventually connect with you, the customer service is good.

cat simulator/spacer is like $50 and works fine on our cars. get whatever downpipe you want with it

That's essentially what Kenji/Armytrix uses and I've never heard of anyone getting CEL even catless (including me)
