I just installed a BMR brace on my diff and i absolutely love it. I saw a guy post his diff straight wrecked from the bolts breaking that attach to the bushing and diff. He claims 20k miles and saucing it often. Ive been saucing mine quite often and have 3500 miles on it, so i went ahead and got the brace.

1. The shipping from BMR was pretty quick. I ordered last thursday and it arrived tuesday(today)

2. The brace comes packaged in little bubble wrapped packages , and also are placed into plastic that are heat sealed. All seperate. The only downfall was there are no instructions, but youtube has quite a few videos of the install.

3. The brace took me 30 minutes to install. I shit you not. I had received a notification stating it was delivered while i was at the gym before work, and i went home just to put it on before work. Youll need some e torx, socket wrench allens, and a torque wrench. Also preferably ramps to get the car up quick.

4. After the install, I went to work. Instantly the car felt like it was stiffer and had a straighter feel when accelerating. For some reason the shifts felts smoother and im assuming its due to the rear diff slop from not being as secure as it is now with the bmr brace.

10/10 recommend this if youre trying to avoid the bolts snapping. I also have ARP Diff bolts coming in just to cover all my ends, but overall if youre looking for a brace i recommend BMR

*update*
Have had it on for two days and the cars diff is much more stable. No wheel hop, and shifts feel very crisp. The car does slide if you get on it now even with traction control on but is not unbearable. Still recommend the brace

Doesn't it require drilling the subframe? That's what BMR says.

No changes to NVH? I'm been wanting to get some kind of diff brace that doesn't make me have to get rid of the Verus cooling plate

I just put it in yesterday and drove for about 30 minutes and i didnt notice anything. Just made it feel planted. But yes, you do need to drill into the subframe in which they provide you with a drill bit to do so. Do wear a long sleeve and a glove when drilling and some type of eyewear lol those shards were hot af

Thanks for the review. What ARP bolts are you speaking of?

These bolts that hold the diff to the bushing. I saw a guy snapped them, but arp makes these bolts that are a bit stronger. Waiting on these, but im not to worried since i now have the diff brace on

I've been eyeing this brace but also saw the Twisted Tuning one.
Is there a big difference between the two?

TT reuses the existing holes, BMR requires you to drill.

Both use a threaded plate inside the subframe (VTT uses nut-serts 😆).

TT only loads 2 diff cover bolts, BMR spreads the load among 4 bolts.

TT requires you to remove 4 bolts to change the fluid, BMR requires 6 (looks like the two halves can stay joined)

Highly recommend waiting for @rwense to release his. No drilling AND uses threaded plate AND loads 4 bolts AND provides access to fluid changes. Literally a grand slam design.

Sounds promising, is there a thread on this?

I've wanted a diff brace for a while, but wasn't willing to get rid of the verus cooling plate. Finally gave in and ordered the BMR one, in part because there seemed to be a slight chance they could work together. A little bit of trimming on the Verus part and yep, they fit together.

BMR diff brace installed:

Trimming the verus plate (it was later cleaned up a bit)

Both together

Does the Verus plate completely cover the diff? Including the jack point?

Yeah you'd have to unbolt it. Is that even a consideration? How often do you jack from there?
