I was finally able to go faster than my stock times at HPR! I threw Vitours on earlier this year and I was chasing balance, then I went back to Bridgestones and finally able to get back on track.

This is not my finest driving, I made a lot of huge mistakes on this fast lap. There was tons of traffic and AIM showed a theortical best of 1:55.0, I'm confident there was a 55 out there yesterday. If I just had a better run out of T8 and didn't completely botch T11 data showed those were .75 seconds lost.

1) High Plains Raceway - Full
2) 1:56.484
3) 11/1/2025
4) Eibach front sway bar, Tomei Single Ti Exhaust, AA Catted DP, OEM Tune (390 WHP Dyno), Nitron RTR R1 with my own rates, CSG C1X / C11
5) 18x11 +40 APEX VS-5RS with 295/35-18 RE71RS square

Unfortunately so. Many wasted hours and dollars trying to get them to work how I wanted them to and in the end I just like Bstones better.

Yea they are trash. I really think the fast guys they use to market the tires get ringers.

I thought my setup changes with P1’s weren’t doing anything then… I put Bridgestones back on and instantly dropped a second back to my normal pace without even trying, then did a new PB 2 secs faster.

You mentioned balance. The front and rear of my Supra felt like two different cars when I had the P1’s on.

I had to crank up damping substantially front and rear to get the P1 to take a set. I agree, they felt disconnected front and rear and one end of the car would unpredictable exceed the limit. I also went from full soft on my front bar on the P1s with understeer to full stiff on the front bar pretty neutral on RE71RS.

I'm excited to try out some RZ's as soon as they are out!

I hang out several different places with WILDLY varying opinions of the P1. It does seem like the autox guys have better luck with them, but it's hard to sift through the marketing rah rah of a couple of fanbois/distributors.

I"m not a fan of how they came on the US amateur motorsports scene (bait and switch, beta testing with unknowing testers, etc.), so I'll choose not to give them my $.

Thank you! 🙏

I've got MSC 2WR and some bigger rims/tires for next year - can't wait! This car is a handful on [mostly] stock suspension. VIR was sketchy...

And Palmer. Driving that hard at Palmer without aero is impressive.

Do we not have any Daytona info in this thread? I searched and was unable to find anything but it could be operator error.

I feel the same about the R888R. Other than muscle car guys needing weird sizes, I don't understand why so many people recommend these tires to other people.

Thank you! 🙏

I'm deleting all your posted times for saying "rims". :p
But seriously, I did a season of time attack with only wheels/tires/brake pads. I felt the car was relatively stable and easy to slide/correct. Maybe because I came from cars that were even more difficult to drive?
I do admit to a spin at SOW due to nannies somehow changing settings on me. Lol

All times are listed in the first post. You can't miss them.

Heard. Well, I don't see anything for Daytona so I'll break the seal. Not that fast, but data is always good. Obviously lots of room for improvement, and maybe some of you can help out.

1) Daytona International Speedway Sports Car Course (Daytona Road Course Long)
2) 2:15.124 (Track Addict GPS)
3) 9/18/25 @13:12
4) Car is stock mechanically ('23 3.0 MT)
5) RE71RS OE sizes on OE wheels
