AP racing BBK CP9668 and CP9450 reviews

Looking for feedback from anyone running the AP Racing BBK (CP9668 fronts and CP9450 rears) on the Supra. My car is primarily a track car, so I’m considering upgrading and would love to hear how the kit feels on track—initial bite, modulation, heat management, pad wear, and overall performance. How has the setup held up for you guys that have switched to this kit?

I don't personally own the 9668, but I've driven a Supra that does, and in comparison to the Brembo Pista's I've also used... I honestly don't feel a major difference in terms of bite. However In terms of feel, they're really firm and extremely consistent regardless of where on the track or speed they're engaged at. I drove my buddies Supra for a whole session at Buttonwillow when it was 102F outside and the brake pedal feel was still consistent throughout the entire session with no fade. I'm personally on stock calipers and I'm still debating if I'm going to go the Brembo Pista route and save $1.5K or just yolo the CP 9668.

I won't tell you what to do with your money, but there's a lot of actual competitive Gridlife and GTA guys that compete in Time Attack that don't bother with a whole kit for the rears. Just pads and rotors, but go full upgrade on the front.

1st step do front AP + rear stock brakes coding with agressive pad.
When U have spare cash may add rear AP. Thats the route i go. I heared switching to rear 4piston is not a major difference but a nice addition to make package more cohesive.

^ I agree with what they said, I would do a BBK in the front and track pads / rotors for the rear. Unless you can float the rear BBK no problem then why not. It's a good time now since we have them on Black Friday too.

Bite and modulation is 99.9% pad material.

BBK's (well designed) add more stiffness, weight loss, cooling capacity, and depending on the kit, pad size that helps with heat and wear rate.
