Hey Guys,

Not sure if anyone would know on here. I have a fully caged Supra that is raced in NASA ST1. Car has a kill switch, and the annoying thing is every time I need to start the car to load on the trailer etc, I need to hold the key to the steering column and takes like 5-10 attempts to get it right. Does anyone know a way to bypass the immobilizer or have the car not need to sense the key fob, so I can install a switch panel, with a switch to just start the car?

Thank You

There may possibly be a way to code that out but I highly doubt it. Since thats such an ingrained security feature I cant imagine its easily removed without pissing off literally EVERYTHING else in the car lol.

Have you considered removing the key from its housing, making a small enclosure, and just installing it somewhere under or even on the steering column? Seems a bit hacky but might be the simplest solution!

EDIT: If it does work, you could always wire up a fused circuit to something like a buck converter to drop the voltage down to 3.3v so the fob micro doesnt ever need to be removed to change the battery.
