Just to clarify, the chances of a 3rd group buy are still up in the air. I may or may not be talking with a 3rd party that indicated an interest in being a dealer. So more than likely if that goes through I personally will not be doing group buy for the brace going forward. Not sure yet but I will make sure to update everyone.

I will double check the measurements today and see if the 3 bolt can be installed or no, and give you updates.

Curious if anyone has replaced another vendors brace with this one and if there was a noticeable difference between the two. Currently have a VTT brace (I know how some people feel about VTT), trying to decide if I should replace it. I like how this one has the spine (no better word) in the middle, which the VTT one doesn't have, wondering how much of a difference it makes.

Performance aside, you'd be supporting someone who is genuinely invested in the platform and is willing to help people out in any situation they find themselves in.

Personally, I don't think you would actually feel a noticeable difference. At the end of the day, all of the braces on the market should perform the same. The only benefits mine brings to the table are easier fluid changes, wedgelock washers, and pretty colors lol.

I appreciate even considering changing over to mine however! 🙂

@rwense I read the thread, but I have a quick question. Any issues with the 4 bolt version on an FE Supra like the Z4 brace?

New here and to the platform, sorry if I missed that and thanks in advance!

Edit: Never mind, found the group buy, I’m order number 178, thanks!

Just to verify, to did you go w/ the 3-bolt? From what I can tell it's a sure fit. 4-bolt was iffy.

IT IS SOOOOOO TIGHT SPACE DOWN THERE, but 3-bolt (70% sure) may fit. The strut bars had the same 2 bolts as the z4.
The exhust need to be removed to install the brace, and if i need to remove exhust the sturt bars need to be removed 😫.

It will be very hard job to install the brace, but i will do it coz i want to install verus cooling plate so all of that i need to do to finish 🤕.

@rwense
BTW could i install the sub frame 2 bolts first, then install the 3 differential bolts, or the wrench won't fit to remove the 3 bolts ???

Wait, im sorry, what exhaust do you have that requires you to remove it in order to install my diff brace?

At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what order you install the bolts, just make sure you tighten each one progressively so as not to side load one bolt. Have you reviewed the install guide?
