Is femto still the only way?

Hello all. It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted here. Please excuse me if I’ve missed a bunch or if my post violates the new guidelines. I got to busy with life and now I want to get back into my hobbies. Years ago the only way for me to really tune my 2021 Supra was to do a femto unlock. Ive been thinking about actually tuning my car recently and wanted to know if a better solution has come out over the last 4 years. I’ve seen that kies did a unlock thing that lasted a weekend. I want to know is there anyone better way to get my car tuned nowadays? Or is femto still the only way? Femto does unlocks in the US now out of Miami and for cheaper than ever (for me it's only $400 plus shipping)

Thank you for linking this. To tune my car so I just buy that ship it off and then plug in something like bm3 or mhd and boom it’s done or is there more to it?

They have it labeled wrong, or in a misleading way. It is a full proper unlock. there's a lot of guys who have done full true unlocks via FEMTO Miami already.

Is there any difference between auto tuner and femto? And just to clarify you are saying this photo is what I need to purchase in order to run bm3 or mhd? Thank you all for helping me out. I have read the other posts. I’m just looking for some clarification. Measure twice cut once mindset.

Yes, FEMTO calls it a "bench unlock" but it is an actual full ECU unlock and not the basic unlock for pre-2020 ECU's that any decent BMW shop can do.

AFAIK the only difference between the two is that if your DME got relocked, the AT unlock DME can only use an AT bench unlocker. The Femto unlock can be benched unlocked with any bench unlocker.
