First full day HPDE on Saturday. Think I’m hooked. Started hearing a weird clicking sound on hard turns toward the end of the day - turns out I still had one shipping spacer on each front shock (been there for 30k miles!).

I always find even when I use a spot at the far end of the carpark away from everyone I come back to find a car parked next to me! Doesn't matter which of the cars I'm driving😂

Seriously! At least this one was a gem. I love these and wasn’t the least bit annoyed.

Totally understand. This is why I park a little bit away from the other cars.. in a spot where it doesn’t look obvious I’m trying to park away, but also where it doesn’t make sense for someone to park next to me when there are closer spots….
Because like you when I park far way some person parks right up beside me.. usually in some cheap beat up car… I’m convinced they do it to annoy folks…

24' Supra 3.0 MT... the Orange one
ran Laguna Seca for the first time over the weekend. Amazing track and deceivingly complex. It's massive elevation change truly tests your braking wits.... and your balls.

"And your balls" Seriously you're doing a track day in a cage not riding a Superbike. No real balls required.

I've never really understood the concept of taking your car or motorcycle to a race track and then prioritising keeping it off the walls so to speak. When I'm on the track on a bike i'm there to push the limits and take some risks and I've got the injuries and broken bikes to prove it. Thats what tracks are for, going to the limit and so you can extend the envelope not driving around with a massive safety margin. If you're a "car guy" and don't fancy the risks of a bike why not spend a relatively small amount of money in the grand scheme of things and buy a Supercart? Way , way quicker than your Supra and if you wad it well it's not a massive cost issue. Then you can really go out there and wring it's neck and go genuinely quick. I think the record there for a Supercart is 1.23 and change so faster than 95% of road cars even exotic ones.
