I have been battling the on again off again CEL running a catless downpipe. Im also running the titan ProTune. What is interesting is most others are not reporting a issue. So here is what ive done and where I am at.

The shop that installed the downpipe used their own O2 spacer and I was having issues with the below codes. So I swapped that O2 spacer for the fabspeed 02 spacer and am still getting the same issue. the codes im getting are as follows. Ive verified there is not actual disconnection of the 02 sensor. Any ideas?

12ab04 oxygen sensor after catalytic converter, electrical line disconnection
12b701 oxygen sensor heating after catalytic converter, function: internal resistance too high

I want to make sure that this is a product of the catless downpipe and piggyback and not haveing a ECU flash that can suppress those warnings vs some other issue.

I installed my euromotive performance dp yesterday with their O2 spacer that has a mini cat. I've driven over 400kms so far and no CEL. I'll report back in a week.

This might be a dumb question but are you sure the fabspeed mini cat is plugged into the downstream (last) o2 bung? If it’s plugged into the first bung you will likely get weird errors.

Yes it's in bank 2 (closest to the road)

He also has one that is bent and it has the mini-cat
Im open to giving it a shot, im just surprised ive had the issue both with a Fabspeed 02 spacer, as well as a different one so I was hoping to confirm those 2 codes specifically are somewhat expected with the catless downpipe. The CEL is bothering me to the point im on the fence about ripping out the titan protune and selling it, and replacing with a proper ECU tune that will suppress those.

I'm in the same thought process. But it sure would be nice to find a solution without a flash tune

Got the CEL today but is this related to the downpipe?

New CEL code came on today. Checked all connections and it was fine. I cleared the code and see if it comes back again. Weird.

I want to go Catless but these CEL issues are sort of worrying me...I am currently running Titan Motorsports Piggyback and I don't really wanna go the route of flash because I still want to have warranty (since it's a bmw)
