The Tundra is a shit-show with all the engine problems.
I have a loaded 2016 Ram 2500 with a Cummins diesel I bought new and I added a full Carli/king suspension shortly after
It’s been flawless so far after 10 years with about 130k on it.
I use it in bad weather and for pulling other toys.
With the price of new trucks I’ll probably just keep it forever.

Looking good.Almost pulled the trigger on the 2500 but got a better deal with the Titan.Thank god I never got the 5.0 cummins that came with the titan, absolute disaster of an engine but the 5.6 is a gas guzzler.Pay 120$ to fill her up every time lol.

I don't get why everyone shits on mustang. I get it they made a million of them but it's not a bad looking car at all. The gt350 is whole different feeling than a base gt and even the mach 1. Feel like a lot of people get caught on the rarity and how many were produced.
From my point of view:
In the city I live in, Mustangs, Challengers, and to a lesser extent Camaros are the new Civic. They are straight-piped and doing donuts all over the place. When someone sees a 350, they don't know the difference. It's still a Mustang.
For the 6mos I had my 350R, the attention I got was horrendous. I heard "bro" more times in an hour than I had my entire life prior. Some asshat would always barge into the room and yell "Who's R is that outside??!!". I'd look around like I had no idea. I kept it to myself at all times. It's probably the reason it spent all it's time on track and very little on the road. I took it to ONE car meet. Never again LOL. I just don't like that type of attention. I get that some do, so I sold my car to someone like that. Seriously. The guy that bought it put air bags on it and turned the poor thing into a SEMA car. That killed me a bit inside.

That's why the hate on Mustangs LOL.

Personally, I love them. My first performance car that I drove and modded was '00 GT. The new body styles look GREAT. Despite that, I don't see myself owning another unless it was a third or fourth car and only another 350R or GT500.

Out here in jersey & new york its become beamer central. Every car meet has at least 20-30 G80s and a million 330i/230i.Of course i see a bunch of mustangs but at this point I think beamer boys have officially taken over

Makes sense, BMW's (and the Supra) are so stupidly cheap to power mod compared to most other modern cars. The G80s are social media kings the past few years; every Tiktok / YT Shorts wanna-be shows theirs off, while 4-6 year old M-Lites used are corolla/civic new prices.

The b58 is now the 5.0 for euro cars. Which I think is great, allows people to not spend a ridiculous amount of money to make good power and still have good reliability. The downside to that is now everyone wants to chase HP numbers because of tiktok/insta.

If I had $1 for every person I see do a high-hp build just to sell it because the car isn't fun after the first week.

Yeah people don't really realize that the more power you have the less you're able to actually have fun with said power on public roads unless you're gonna be a boy-racer and break every road law.

Even at mid 400's to the wheels I get to 60+ so damn fast that I don't get a lot of time to really rev out the engine or accelerate.

Agreed. One of my old cars was 430whp and AWD. It was really quick but still retained what made it great in the first place. I went to an event where a dude I knew had his car there. Same car, but with 750+whp. Guess which car everyone had the most fun in. He may have gone the whole day and never hit full boost LOL. He's one of the people that didn't own his car long. He later told me the deal breaker was all the additional maintenance more than it was the drivability. I can understand both.
I get it, though. I used to go for big power. We used to drive FWD cars with 500+whp. That was also fun for about a week. LOL. At some point, I realized cars have limits on what is useable and staying within that limitation is usually a LOT of fun. Much more reliable, too.

Agreed, I’ll be keeping mine mostly stock.
Maybe a downpipe and mild tune at some point but want to stay on pump gas.

A lot of people now just say fuck it and go from stock to making 600 and don’t realize how much power that truly is.When I run e60 i make about 650 and its a blast but you run out of space on the street so its really unusable. Most of the time i run 93 and still have a great time. A lot of these new kids think you need to make crazy power to have fun which we all know isnt true. My foxbody is dog shit slow but just slowly watching the RPMs go up and hearing that 5.0 scream i have the time of my life

A downpipe isn't a bad idea when it comes to saving the turbo. Cats on a turbo car is saddening LOL. I've seen lap times on Supras with crazy suspension and aero but basically stock power. Plus, you get to brag a bit LOL. I was faster than most modified cars I ran against and regularly popped my hood to satisfy protests. That was almost as fun as the drive. Very, very capable cars.

Nothing like wringing the neck of a fox body. Classic. I have an old car with a 440 that isn't the fastest thing around but the torque and noise more than makes up for it. It does that thing where the car rocks to one side when you rev the engine. It makes me giggle.
Also, I think some people that do these high hp builds don't realize the power they may lose, under the curve. Lag can make a car feel fast, but also really hard to drive. That on/off switch is no joke. At least the Supra has three liters and some other tricks to mitigate some of that.

We only get 91 in Az.
😭
Your not missing out on much lol its about 5$ per gallon rn, ridiculous
I'm paying almost $5/gal for 87 and well over that for 91. I have one vehicle that uses 87 but has a 25gal tank, then two that use 91 - one with a 25gal tank and the other 19. All three are V8s ranging 3.6L to 7.2L. I'm sure you can imagine the MPG. Laughing/not laughing.
