I agree, that Larson rendering is pretty old too, I have had it in my Flickr since march of 2015, that last purple one was another version.

I have updated an old render from a Japanese car magazine with the latest taillights.
Also adjusted diffuser/exhaust length/position and added roof lines.

First post, but had to comment on the rear similarities of the renders and the new z4 concept. I know it's a shared platform, but there seems to be a good amount of design similarities as well (the vertical vents running up to the tailights, the raised deck spoiler). The main significant difference is the higher rear fender/tailights of the z4, which I'm assuming is necessary to accomodate the convertible top. Basically, what I'm saying is I think the z4 concept lends further credibility to the accuracy of these renders.

That silver rendering is just way too wide. The red rear and white quarter rear view I think is much more accurate.
