Hey Guys,

So there’s a peekaboo in my block and I was wondering if I can put an engine from a 2023 Supra into my 2020 Supra. Only reason why I am asking is there’s not much 2 port engines that I can find out there but there is many 6 port engines (cheaper/almost same price) Now my questions would be; is it a direct swap and what complications will I run into?

And then what did it wind up costing
Well I found a crashed supra at a junkyard near me, I got the motor for a steal to be honest. It had about 3000-4000km it was about $6k for the whole block + harnesses. (You can re-use your harnesses). I'm not sure about labor as I swapped the motor in my garage.

I'm pretty mechanically, inclined. Was it very difficult? What was the most difficult part and thanks in advance for sharing

Sorry to bug him. But I haven't found much on this particular topic what did you do about having your reprogram? It is that a thing

Try ebay or car-parts dot com and see any used motors you can buy there. If you are mechanically inclined, I'm sure you can do it easily, it was also my first time swapping a motor by myself. There wasn't anything in particular that was difficult, it just depends on how motivated you are to get the engine back in. It took me a whole month to do but I think its very doable in a week if you have lots of free time. You will need new gaskets, nuts/bolts and such, You can also follow, Kern's guide on removing and installing the b58.

Not that I know of, I just plugged in my original DME, cleared the codes and that's about it.
