ECUTEK pricing / basic info for 2021 . Tuners in Southern NJ area?

Hey guys Ive had some tuned cars in the past years, s14s and stuff like that. The last tuned car I had was an active autowerke stage 2 meth injected e46 M3 in 2009. I had sent the ecu over night to them and had it shipped back to me next day. Never got it custom tuned after that and blew it up in about 10k miles hahaha. Needed some guidance on my supra so I can have some good reliability and good power .

Ive decided I definitely want to go ECUTEK but after reading many threads I have a couple of questions id like definite answers for.

First are there any tuners out in the tri state area that have background with the a90 specifically the 2021?

When getting into the ECUTEK itself do you guys recommend buying online with the license or purchasing everything through whatever shop I end up going to?

What other things are overlooked normally I can make sure and address?

Ill be daily driving so will be after a reliability and power , any recommendations on modifications? I have a catless downpipe and plan on running straight pipe exhaust and also pre ordered the hks suction intake.

What about adding the pure800 turbo ? Ive considered upgrading my turbo if im doing all this

What overall price point do you think im looking at? Unfortunately in my area and also in 2020 you all know too well there are shops that are not trustworthy and overcharge / oversell. What should I expect roughly in price?

Any remote tuner that supports ECUTEK can tune your car remotely but if you want someone local, there is @Twisted Tuning in NY.

thanks ill check them out thats a decent drive for me , NY is about 3 hrs from me so that would be a overnight adventure forsure. Yea I saw that they can tune remotely but I did want to get a in person dyno and custom tune after getting a base map

If the drive is too far, i also travel for tuning and i also do remote dyno tuning. Thats where you schedule a day with a dyno facility local to you and i tune you in that dyno via email.

That’s actually good to know after calling some local shops I was considering going to soho in nc. What is your guys Ecutek package with tune going for ? Very interested in talking more thanks

Might want to look into this for 2021s. Just talked with a tuner today at a meet and they said bmw/toyota updated software for 2021s and they said no one has been able to Crack it yet.

I've seen this other places as well.

Build dates 7/2020 and on have the new security and processor.

Oh great. My build date was 04/2020. That means my supra should be good?
