New magnetic phone mount and charging cable, I have a Samsung phone with an Otterbox case, have to put magnetic ring on it so no wireless charging but short charging cable has 90* plug on it, fits real nice. The mount is suction cupped under radio and I removed the phone charging tray, of...
I just started playing too after setting up a rig, etc. I tried looking around, the only cars I can find are modded to hell.
Here's a clip of one that looks semi stock (description says its not) from no hesi don't know if its available still
EDIT: Presumably its here for download...
Thinking of moving out of California. Not necessarily tommorrow but maybe in the next 5-10 years depending on job/life situation. No real ties here other than friends from work and school.
I've grown tired of the traffic, crime, political BS, high cost of living, etc. Love the weather and...
Bump 2 yr old thread... I'm gonna be in Sacramento area morning of Nov 22, anyone up there down to meet for breakfast or cars and coffee? Coming from So Cal, I'd like to meet local folks. Doing a driving class at Thunderhill day prior.
Love it I had a Gen 2 Viper and I loved that car. I miss it, want another one lol.
Also pic from last autocross for the year couple weeks ago 🫡 In case it wasn't obvious I like blue cars and black or gunmetal wheels 🙂
Awesome I'll have to pick ur brain about your clutch and engine setup I am so tempted to start messing with the car a little more 😅
I forgot to chime in these guys took care of my suspension since I first bought the car back in 2023. Thanks guys! @Speed Logic
Haha hey bro! Yeah i remember your car is sick with the green on bronze! I have been thinking of these wheels on my blue car and cant make up my damn mind on color 😂
I'm curious too, I wish there was more data out there and that the shops that service and support the manual cars would do more to showcase, promote, and test the clutch products.
There's general guidelines out there for clutches heres one from summit racing, they have a good video on YouTube...
Late to party but if future me were in the market for a car like the Supra, I'd absolutely pay a premium for a car that was known to be stock or mostly stock and owned by no more than two or three people. Cars like this are so easy to abuse. My observation is kids these days (yeah I'm getting...
That's a huge change, genuinely curious why? An old friend of mine had one, an Exige, he got tired of it pretty fast. Supra is a great all around vehicle the elise seems to be pretty miserable as a street car is my impression.
I saw your post above about $2400 tune... Not sure exactly what is included with that package....
Ive heard good things about these guys, no personal experience, ECUTEK platform remote tune starting at 600 bux.... Plus some pricey add ons thom...
EDIT: just realized original thread is old.
Yeah i got one of those chunky c clamps from Amazon. Works great, doesn't scuff up the bar and is secure.

Sample of video from recent autocross:
Yea, how about other maintenance tasks, recommended parts, like spark plug replacement, injector replacement, belts, hoses replacement, other fluid replacement (brakes, clutch, trans, diff), parts that are common failure points with higher milage (gaskets, plastic parts), and suggested...
I've been trying to track this down myself, with the hope that the OE clutch parts have some published torque capacity, maybe by cross referencing the BMW G29 Z4 manual equipped car or any B58 manual car, but no luck so far.
Assuming the powetrain engineers did their job, the clutch torque...
Don't think I saw a few things mentioned that can be easy to overlook. I have one track day in the Supra (time of my life it is soooooo much fun) and a bunch from years ago in other cars.
I always check/bring these things:
-Some cash ($100 or so, gate fee, food at track, gas, random stuff)...
I wasn't planning to, maybe not a bad idea tho. I'm using them for autocross/track days, canyon runs, etc.
The rear bar mount probably wouldn't be the best place to do it, can't see out the windshield as well as you could from a windshield mount. See picture.
EDIT: I tweaked the settings to...
