There’s another thread on here explaining the leak is coming from a breather on top of the diff. Something about it spitting out when the fluid gets hot
I can confirm this definitely works. I had a bunch of the square ones in my house and decided to stick a few on and take a test drive. I can verify no buffeting up to 80 mph. I only tried them on the driver’s side. I’m assuming they would work just as well on the passenger side. Only problem is...
Thanks, found it. 7/10/2019. The affected cars are MY 2020 units from July 15 to 25, 2019. I'd be surprised if I didn't get a letter. Although, I did just hit 1200 miles without any problems. We'll see
I had the same issue with the vgate adapter. I would return it and get the OBDLinkMX+. It allows for more coding features. Check Amazon. I believe it was around $80

Ended up returning the Vgate adapter. It wouldn’t allow for coding of the Advanced Crash Safety Module and a few other modules. Got the OBDLinkMX+ instead

Winter tires are definitely a must for these cars if they’re going to be driven in the snow. I’ve had great experiences with Blizzaks in the past. They can transform any car from a snow sled to a snow mobile. Not too sure if I’ll be getting a set due to having other vehicles to drive in the snow...
I had to take my 2017 Tacoma to the dealership for a blower motor safety recall. I didn’t feel comfortable with keeping the truck after that, so I left with a new Supra that day
