Hey all,

Quick update on our solution for the wind buffet. We had these printed over the weekend and did some testing. At stock we are start to experience wind buffet at 40mph. At 80mph it is pretty much unbearable. With our solution, we experience the slightest wind buffet at 70mph. At 90mph it becomes noticeable, similar wind buffet most cars experience at that speed.

if you are interested in beta testing this prototype please DM me.

Any update?

Example on the car.....goal was to get it to follow the mirror mount contour and be slim and gradually ramp up to the wind break.

Thoughts?

wow you can barely tell it’s there. That’s pretty cool. I rolled my windows down over the weekend for the first time and must say it’s horrific the noise it makes.

I would round off the top edge running horizontally. Probably wouldn’t even notice it’s there with that done.

I actually have a version just like that. This was quick to test the concept and make sure it worked

Awesome job! Any idea when these will be available for purchase?
Working on production method now. Right now they are just 3D printed. But thought about doing them in CF. But It may not be cost effective in CF

Personally, I am not a huge fan of cf. It looks great when it’s new but over time it fades from sunlight. If anything, you could probably make them all from one material and have different vinyl wraps as options to customers at time of purchase
