Damn! ? I was just under my car last weekend correcting some alignment drift. I inspected and lubricated everything and the bolts are still intact and don't show cracking on my LCAs, still though that doesn't mean the material has been compromised.
During installation I had some serious...
I didn't feel anything either. Helped with the sound a tiny bit, but deleting the snorkel did more.
Probably not worth the money, but it's a consumable.
Filter is holding up well after several HDPEs and several thousand miles of daily driving. I'm on a Stage 1 ECUTEK tune. I'll probably replace it with another one when it's time.
It's about 4 hours for me, and I have family in New Hampshire although they're 2 hours from the track lol. I'm really going to try to go next year, but it'll be a once or twice a year thing like The Glen.
Good stuff Evan!
Pitt Race is on my short list of tracks I'd like to drive on that are relatively close to me. Fun watching you run it in a Supra.
I need better seats lol.
@razorlab is 100% correct here.
Flat calipers only measure the height of the HIGHEST PEAKS. You are closing two parallel planes along an AREA. This is only going to measure the high points in the area. This is not a point measurement.
The brake disc calipers come to a point, and measure...
If I did it all over again I'd go with Verkline. I've dealt with SPL CS and I'm afraid my experience wasn't as positive as @razorlab. Also from a mechanical engineering perspective the design of the Verkline components seems to be superior to the SPL stuff.
Kyle, I know who you are (Gridlife) and I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to personally share your experiences with the JRZs on this forum. This sort of information is invaluable.
For people who don't know who Kyle is:
Just an FYI, I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet.
The JRZ RS Pros are really tickling my fancy. I'm trying to determine the feasibility of remote reservoirs, including mounting, charging with Nitrogen, etc. I'm not sure if it's a jump I want to make on my car just yet... but buy...
