Carplay is part of Supra Connect, which as per note 12 of the 2020 Supra brochure:

Extended warranty benefits are subjective. I had it on a Land Rover and it paid itself off. I managed to get it for free on an Audi TT, and I never used it. The Supra, being a BMW, might need it. I could’ve gotten a five-year warranty, with zero deductible, for $1500 from my credit union, but I...
Someone once said the same thing, just as I was getting out of my car. I simply said, “Thanks, I think this is the best looking BMW”. I could tell he tried to come up with some smart remark, but all he did was smile.

BTW, I have a set of OEM pads with just under 5k miles, if anyone local is interested in buying them. I’m in the IE.
CarPlay in the Supra has and odd characteristic: it only works if your phone’s WiFi and Bluetooth are “on“ before you start the engine. Turning one or both on after you start the engine does not work.
A device can only connect to one WiFi source at the time, that’s per design.
Have you tried manually switching your phone’s WiFi from your camera to your car? If that doesn’t work, you probably have to restart the car after disconnecting the camera.
The only times I’ve needed to access my...
