I stand corrected, thank you! I kept finding references to the whole locking mechanism under this number, but this does seem to be the right number for the clip itself.
Very frustrating that a number would not be provided in any of the platform-specific parts diagrams. :/
This is not a Supra or G29 part number, which is why OP had trouble finding it. The official maintenance diagrams for both platforms show the rod with no clip, and you cannot buy this clip by trying to look up parts for these vehicles. Furthermore, the part number you provided is actually for...
Title says it all, really.
Search took me to a few others in the forum that experienced similar issues, but with no resolution. They were a bit on the older side, so I'm hoping that there's more contemporary knowledge out there that I might've missed.
Car is a 2020. EDC removed from Multi ECU...
It does come to a stop and take off again. I haven't used it extensively because I'm quite paranoid about these systems, especially without LIDAR assistance, but it does work.
I cannot explain why your car is showing a CEL lamp without any active codes. But if this were my car, I'd clear codes and go on with my life, never thinking about it again.
Odd question, but: have any photos of the backside of those fenders? Want to see how it was produced. I ask because some of the cheap CF fenders aren't well-finished / well-sealed on the backside and water can contaminate the weave. I'm trying to pick a fender and I don't want to accidentally...
Finally got around to installing mine. All four corners bolted up, no wheels yet. Love how your car sits in the OP photos, @rwense, and I was curious if you could give some guidance on ride height.
To get the height in your photos, are we talking like a finger gap between the front locking...
I did not say it's unseen. The table clearly states that Gen 3 = TU2 = in a 2-port engine code, shipping in vehicles today. We have not seen the 6-port Gen 3, presuming BMW intends to make one.
I believe this is a correct summary of the B58 situation. 6-port Gen 3 not yet seen, but we can infer its probable engine code from the established pattern.
Bolded engine codes are the Supra.
