Removal of trunk/boot hatch trim

Does anyone know how to get the large piece of trim off the trunk/boot hatch?

I’m pretty sure there’s something rattling around in there, specifically down the left side, but can’t figure out how to get it off.

Like in the trunk? Yes, clips and screws.

There’s 2 small grooved plates on either side by the grab handles. They pop out with a trim tool, then there’s a couple of screws to remove and the rest of the trim is held in with clips. Reasonable force is required but as long as you’re consistent with it and don’t just yank at it you should be fine.
