That's either a '20 thing or in your tune. Mine will ride the limiter in 1st gear doing a burnout and donut, etc... It has never auto-upshifted under any condition.
The front pads appear to have a ton of meat left on them. I'd just throw a set of rear pads on and be done. I highly doubt you need new rotors either way.

The disparity in trap speeds is interesting; I would have expected the MT to MPH the same. Also noting the editorial says 115MPH while specs say 114.. Actual end user results will tell the tale, though.
Pre-June '21, will ride the limiter in manual mode. Holding the left paddle down only ever downshifts 2 gears at most and never into 1st, which is annoying.
I own both. My experience is to ~100mph and/or an 1/8 mile run the Supra will need at least a downpipe, Ethanol tune and a good tire. Highway pulls to the moon a downpipe and strong pump gas tune may give the Supra the edge; Ethanol would guarantee it.
