E35ish is the sweet spot but there's some wiggle room depending on other factors. Monitor "trims" and as long as you're in the mid 40s at WOT you're fine (trims max at 50 at which point the ECU can't command more fuel and you'll run lean).
I bought the C7 Z06 specifically because I wanted a manual trans car for the track, and wanted to try something different vs my previous C6 ZR1. The manuals do not have the overheating issues that the autos are notorious for. I also specifically went with a '19 because it has all of the latest...
^^Way too many variables..
My personal experience with my own cars at my home track, Carolina Motorsports Park:
2021 Supra 3.0 Premium - Intake, AMS catted downpipe, SPL front lower control arms, track alignment, Endless MX72 brake pads and fluid, Bridgestone RE71RS 200TW - 1:44.3
2022...
The stock wheels are pretty meh... But like most things like that, they do look a lot better in person, IMO. With the factory alignment the high offset is not doing them any aesthetic favors either. I do prefer these wheels to the optional snowflake/trident wheels.
Low wing is definitely not...
WGAF? Shit happens and GM took care of the owner summarily. That and associated 'articles' have been bouncing around social media for weeks, and only serves as fodder for sociapaths that shit on everything but their own preferences such as yourself.
I'm at VIR 2/18 - 2/19 and everything else is pending schedules. I did see Chin announced their dates so I need to check into it. Eagerly awaiting CMP's 2023 schedule since it's just down the road from me. This year I'd like to do RA and Roebling in addition to VIR, CMP and the Roval. That...
$400 is what I was paying Hagerty for (up to) 3 days coverage; unfortunately they don't prorate if it's a single day event (edit: I never tried calling to see if that was negotiable; their site didn't offer options) . Lockton was competitive as well. I ended up getting an annual policy...
Yes, I started tracking the car on stock wheels/tires. I then went to the RE71RS to see how things went from there -- massive improvement but still flawed. By the time I determined I wanted a square setup I bought track wheels for both of my Corvettes for 2023 instead..
0 toe up front...
To combat the inherent understeer; especially high-speed understeer. Low speed turn-in is pretty good so maybe not as big of an issue for autoX. HPDE and especially high speed tracks the lack of front grip is unnerving. I'm running 255/285 RE71RS.
I'm not familiar with autoX class...
In my experience the front pads wear at least 2x the rate of the rears. If you're concerned with chipping away at every last .01 in the Red group then you should probably step up to the premium rears either way (and CSG pads). The limitation of the MX72 is they get overheated and start to...
