LOL biggest load of horseshit I've read on this site in a minute...! ?
I can't tell if poor sarcasm or just sheer ignorance.. The Supra is fantastic on track right out of the box with just an alignment. It will run 20 minute sessions in the heat all day every day without flinching...
I was 'on the list' for a manual '23 but that ended up falling through. The new Z is a bit of a turd but the Nismo may be promising. In either event, I decided to punt and wait and see what happens between the two as the market settles. I still needed a manual trans car to start tracking so I...
I was being halfway facetious but by all means please put it on a DJ if you can! A Mustang Dyno is an excellent tuning tool but impossible for true comparison's sake. Barring any wacky weather correction factor and/or significant elevation differences, Dynojet are all very very consistent dyno...
Nice! Is Ethanol available to you trackside or do you plan on hauling it? I need to fill back up after two 20 min sessions at stockish power; consumption on E would be brutal! :confused1: Aside from that it's all upside.
Plans for brakes with the new power?
I ran a best of 1.45.354 and back to back 1.46s at Carolina Motorsports Park last weekend. I'll post the videos, etc.. shortly. Back again this coming Monday and hoping to go sub 1.45.
Ran the Roval a few weeks back -- what a trip -- but didn't have TrackAddict.
I was referred to Town & Country and they proceeded to quote me "at least 2-3k" to replace a bent control arm... In hindsight I may have had better luck at Scott Clark, but so far I've aptly avoided a dealer visit. Still need to do that recall..
My go-to is After Hours Racing in NE...
When I had a lapse of judgement and contacted a dealer about a LCA replacement they specifically quoted $600 for the alignment as part of the overall scope. That was one of several total baffling things I came away from the conversation with. At least I have bit more context, but still have no...

The snippet looks ok. The wacky throttle activity is what gets smoothed out with a custom tune.
On E30-40 I ran Map 5 with good track results. Eventually got with Jesse and it drove significantly better on a custom map.
91 octane stick to stock boost, IMO. Map 2 can sometimes be a bit much for 93.
The MKIV aside from headroom has a few inches more in every direction than the MKV. Dimensions aside, because of the layout, size of glass, etc.. it still feels much bigger. The Japanese GT cars of this era were all comparatively spacious and comfy but also physically bigger in general...
Nice blast from the past! I have 1993 and 1995 around here somewhere..
It wasn't really for the period and it's not a small car to begin with. Marketing specs aside, TTs in the real world were 34xx and the Hardtops were closer to 33xx off the showroom floor. Also, basic mods like...
It's not a problem per se, IMO. It's Econ 101 - supply v demand, free market, blahblah.... I'm of the opinion that by now if someone hasn't figured out "MSRP" on luxury items is not real/tangible and nothing more than a suggestion, by definition alone, then it's just willful ignorance. I do...
