I ran a best of 1.45.354 and back to back 1.46s at Carolina Motorsports Park last weekend. I'll post the videos, etc.. shortly. Back again this coming Monday and hoping to go sub 1.45.

Ran the Roval a few weeks back -- what a trip -- but didn't have TrackAddict.

Makes me want to travel.... the elevation change on Palmer looks incredible
It’s one of the most fun tracks I’ve been on for sure. Has to be respected though. I def do not drive 10/10ths on it.

Seen a lot of crumpled panels happen there.

Most of the impact zones have double tire walls so crumpled panels are the usual occurrence if going off track which is good.

Trying to get out there one last time this season, especially now that it's fall:

What do you think of the V730’s compared to the Nankangs?

V730's are a great price/performance ratio. Under $1k for a set of 275/35/18 that have decent pace is a pretty killer deal.

V730 have more feel than CR-S
V730 are more audible than CR-S
V730 tolerate heat better but CR-S aren't bad either compared to its Super200 brothers.
Grip is below the Nankang CR-S
Nankang is without a doubt a faster tire

I'll keep using CR-S as long as I can get them or unless I go to real R-comps.

I've used both tires myself as well, just wanted to hear your feedback lol. Both are great tires, and you are correct, the V730's price point is hard to beat (got my set for $760!).

My findings are spot-on with yours. V730's really talk to you, which is probably why I set a lot of PB's with them over the CR-S. However, I bet if I went back to the CR-S, I would set new PB's since I have had a ton more seat time since I've had them last.

I also think I had a little more fun with the V730 since the car was sliding everywhere, but for lap times, CR-S every time.

Unfortunately I couldn't see the V730's all the way through since a sharp rock ended their life early...
