To those running MAP 2, what kind of AFRs are you seeing under full throttle?

Thought I’d add something to this thread.
Map3 with 3.5gal E85 in the tank = ~E30. Throttle response table set to 70. Car does not like map3 without some ethanol (weirdness/pulling power). Feels like a beast with a mix and good DA.

2021 Supra:
-4in Turboback
-JB4 Map3 with E27 in the tank
-Stock otherwise

Also consistently trapping almost 125mph on the street. Of course the ETs are trash since I am on stock tires and backroads in 40deg weather :)

The what now? Are you talking about DWP, if you are talking about DWP, this isn't going to affect your times at all, it's more of a parameter to adjust the daily driving 'feel.'

Also - keep a close eye on your logs if you're running Map 3. Map 3 is an additive map that pushes 6psi over whatever the DME is requesting. It's incredibly easy, especially with a DA like that, for your DME to be requesting 16-17psi. Toss 6psi on that, and you'll go lean and max out trims. Especially if you're running E.

14.3 - 14.5 in the lower gears (which is a mindfuk for those of us accustomed to PI tuning) and then it tends to fatten up to mid/high 12's up top once IAT's exceed 110°.

Not really sure why I included that number, I was tired lol I think i was going a different route with my post and changed my mind.
Thanks for the heads up. Been on E25-E30 Map3 for like 8-10k miles, no issues. Hundreds of pulls!

Thanks for the info. Just making sure what I was seeing was right. I know I have no option to change what the ecu commands afr to be, so that sucks. Hurry up people and get these things tunable!

I tune a lot of DI turbo cars and I typically shoot for around 12.5 in boost, in any gear. But ya PI car where you are shooting for a 10.8-11.8, big difference.

This was from last night ?? A tiny bit slower but there is some variability off the hit. The 100-130 times are essentially identical so it’s not losing any power between the DAs you see here

Bumping an old thread because I know things change and I don't want to clutter the site with redundant threads:
** 2021 with a HFC DP running 25-30% e-85. Looks like MAP4 may be the best one to use?
** when running 100% 91 oct = MAP2?

I really recommend talking to @Jesse DaBears for a custom map 6. It's a night and day difference compared to the presets.

I was just using presets to putt around town. I won't be using it at the track, so not too worried about extracting the most out of it. From what I gather reading here: the data logs look pretty decent right now, though I'm getting used to the AFRs these cars fun LOL.

On E30-40 I ran Map 5 with good track results. Eventually got with Jesse and it drove significantly better on a custom map.

91 octane stick to stock boost, IMO. Map 2 can sometimes be a bit much for 93.
